Symmetry
Symmetry was founded on the belief that a future where personal growth habits are the norm is a future where everyone lives a more fulfilling life.
Nowadays, Symmetry is fully focused on helping people train more consistently and more efficiently.
As of today we have more than 3 million users, are the market leaders in several key Spanish-speaking markets, and are quickly expanding to Anglo-Saxon markets as well.
Through this effort we are building the foundational user base and revenue that will allow us to achieve our ultimate goal of creating a mainstream digital ecosystem where every user will practice personal growth habits that help them live a more fulfilling life.
Should I apply to Symmetry?
Our culture values curiosity, intelligence & extreme speed over experience.
You should ONLY apply to Symmetry if
- you have already built things that show what you are capable of, and want a place that pushes you much further
- you want to work very intensely with a group of extremely talented people who will give everything for your success, but will constantly pressure you to improve
- you want a job that gives you power, responsibility and autonomy over what you do
- you want a culture where you will be rewarded for the outcomes you produce, not for who you know or who you get along with
- you want a job where there are almost no meetings, and where no one controls your schedule (we do not want to be on top of anyone, we believe deep work is the best work)
- you take feedback and implement it within hours, not weeks
- you are currently looking for a professional position where you can grow 10x as quickly as in any other place
- you are happy to be measured only by what you produce, knowing that sometimes this will ask of everything you have
- you want a job with high variable bonuses that rewards you hugely for outcomes, at a company that holds a high bar and acts on it fast — people who do not move at the pace of their team do not stay long here
You should not apply to Symmetry if
- you are looking for "work-life balance"
- you are sensitive and take feedback personally (we give feedback bluntly and immediately, because we care about you getting better, not about you being comfortable)
- you have never built or achieved anything you are genuinely proud of
Role
You will own the product direction of one of our squads, working directly with the CPO & CEO.
You decide what gets built and why. Nobody will hand you a roadmap and nobody will chase you for a status update. You are measured on one thing: whether the numbers your squad owns — activation, retention, monetization — move.
This is not project management. We don't write roadmaps nobody follows and we don't ship features to close tickets. You form a data-backed hypothesis, you help your designers & engineers ship the smallest thing that tests it, you read the data honestly, and you either double down or kill it. Then you do it again, faster than last time.
What you will do
- Decide what your squad builds. Strategy, priorities and tradeoffs are yours, against Symmetry's growth OKRs.
- Run several A/B experiments at once. Clear hypothesis, defined metric, honest post-mortem — including on the ones that lost. Especially those.
- Live inside the funnel. Activation, retention, monetization, cohorts. Know where users drop off and why, before anyone asks you.
- Work with engineers & designers to ensure what you define comes out exactly as you envisioned it.
- Talk to users constantly. Session recordings, reviews, interviews. You should understand our users better than anyone else in the company.
- Have taste. Together with your designer you decide how what you ship looks and feels. Beautiful products are not a nice-to-have here.
- Use AI as your default tool: research, analysis, specs, data, prototypes. If something takes you a day and an agent could do it in an hour, we expect you to notice on your own.
- Tell the team what you learned, fast and in writing.
Real examples from the last few weeks: running 4 onboarding variants at once and deciding which one survives; surveying people who cancel and people who stay until we find what truly retains; killing a paywall experiment that tanked activation in a key market — and documenting why.
Meetings
One weekly post-mortem, one 15 minute daily standup, one monthly company review. That's all. The rest of your calendar is yours.
What we are looking for
We hire for potential, not for starting point. Our best PM joined out of uni with almost no experience and was operating at CPO level within nine months — we would hire him again in a second. If your case is that you have done this before somewhere else, that is interesting but it is not what gets you the job.
Non-negotiable
- You are obsessed with the world of B2C apps
- You love building things: Apps, side projects, tools, a small business — something you made because you wanted it to exist. Send us the link (a portfolio link works too, if that is where your work lives). If you have built nothing outside of your job, don't apply or justify it with a previous extremely intense job, and tell us what you built there.
- You learn absurdly fast. Tell us something you knew nothing about six months ago and are proficient at today.
- You have taste. Send us three products you think are excellent and tell us exactly why.
- You act on feedback the same day you get it
- You care only about the truth, especially when the data says your idea failed
- You are comfortable with numbers. Funnels, cohorts, significance, deciding under uncertainty. You don't need to have built an experimentation system, but you need to be obsessed with numerical results.
- You use AI every day and it shows in how much you ship.
- You are fast and you finish things. Started and abandoned doesn't count here.
Nice to have, genuinely not required
- experience scaling a B2C app from thousands to millions of users
- bachelor's degree with a high grade in a related field (eg: data science/comp science/design)
- subscription monetization: paywalls, pricing, trials, LTV
- fitness, health, wellness or lifestyle products
- a technical background, or having built AI features into a consumer product
- having worked shoulder to shoulder with engineers and designers
If you have everything on the second list and nothing on the first, you are not a fit.
What success looks like
- The metrics your squad owns are measurably better without having affected other metrics.
- Idea to live experiment in days, not weeks. Several tests running at once, each one documented.
- You are running your squad independently in under two months.
- By the end of your first year you are teaching us things about our own product.
Compensation
- Competitive salary with a high variable component. We do not set a fixed number for the role: we adapt to your experience and your current salary, with a quarterly bonus of 25–50% of base tied to your squad's results. If you want to know more, ask in the first interview.
- Equity — you own part of Symmetry & its vision.
- Fully remote, no fixed hours, almost no meetings.
- Direct coaching from the c-suite team. This will be the fastest learning period of your life — people leave Symmetry able to build their own company.
